Please note, Volunteers must attend a Training Session and be cleared by the Gaston County Sherriff’s Department background check before they are fully confirmed to participate. As a result, we will hold off sending confirmation emails until that process is completed. Please be sure to check your ‘spam’ filters for our notification.
If you are confirmed but cannot attend the event,
please notify us as soon as you can,
especially if you elect to be a Buddy!

Our Guest Registration is at capacity and
our waitlist is also full, as a result, we cannot accept
any additional
registration or waitlist requests at this time.

Interest in “Night To Shine” (and attendance)
has grown year after year and we just don’t
have the space to safely accept more participants this year.

There are other hosts in the surrounding area that may
still have room for additional Guests. Please visit the

for information on those locations.
We’ll post links as we get more info about them.

The “Night to Shine” logo has a new look this year,
but it’s the same event you have come to love and expect!

Hair and Makeup Reservations

Appointments for Hair and Makeup will also open in Early December. Guests are invited to schedule a time on Friday, February 7th, 2025 between 4 and 6pm to have their hair and/or makeup done before the event.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING

“Night To Shine” is a very special event for our Guests and its you, tour Volunteers, that make is special for them. It takes a commitment of your time to attend the advanced training session and devote your evening to help the Guest experience the love of God and community.

Even if you have volunteered before, there are changes every year.
We will have three training sessions scheduled – you must attend ONE (1) of these sessions which last roughly one hour and are held on our campus in our sanctuary. Please check in when you arrive so we can update your registration information:

- - - - Thursday, January 30th at 6:30pm
        
        Saturday, February 1st at 10:30am
        
        Saturday, February 1st at 2:00pm

Please note, you must attend one of these sessions before you can participate as a volunteer. If you have concerns about your ability to attend one these dates, please contact our church office or send an email to nts@southminsterchurch.com.

The Tim Tebow Foundation has made the decision that for the safety of our guests, 2022’s event will once again be virtual. Southminster church is once again partnering with the Tim Tebow Foundation to register guests in and around Gaston County and provide a “Shine Thru” experience at our campus on Friday, February 11th, 2022, similar to the event last year.
